Prior to joining Syprett Meshad, Nick was an Assistant State Attorney for Florida’s 12th Judicial Circuit. While at the State, Nick handled numerous misdemeanor, juvenile-related, and felony, cases including Batteries, DUI’s, Possession of Controlled Substances, and Robberies. He has numerous hours in court and trial and is proud to have had a jury trial in each county of the 12th Judicial Circuit (Manatee, DeSoto and Sarasota). Nick also worked as a Staff Attorney in the 20th Judicial Circuit clerking for two Circuit Court Judges in Charlotte County on legal issues, drafting orders, and other research arising out of criminal matters before the Court.
Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Nick naturally attended Penn State University. In the time between studying for his degree and graduating, Nick served as a Police Officer in Dewey Beach, Delaware where he discovered his calling to become an attorney. Nick proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserve from 2009 until 2015, and in 2013 was elected to a seat on his local Borough Council – the youngest ever elected to that seat at the time.
Nick attended the Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Florida. While there, he was on the Moot Court Board and participated in trial competitions, an MLB sports arbitration at Tulane University School of Law, and many appellant brief/oral arguments. Nick has also been published twice in the Moot Court Boards’ journal “The Gavel.”
A proud Nittany Lion who bleeds blue and white, Nick never misses a game and since 2014 has attended every bowl game Penn State has been selected to play in. Nick is married to his wife Alexandra and together they have a son named Giovanni, and a French bulldog named Barkley.
