Ken Poole is a managing partner (effective January 1, 2022) and shareholder with the firm and devotes his practice to the areas of family and criminal law.  He holds a 2022 AV Preeminent© rating from Martindale-Hubbell© Peer Review Ratings™, and in 2020, was honored in SRQ Magazine’s peer review program as an Elite Top Attorney (Family Law category) of Florida’s Gulf Coast.

He assists clients in a wide variety of marital and domestic relations issues including: divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, paternity, domestic violence injunctions, post-judgment enforcement and modification issues. In addition, Mr. Poole has completed training in Collaborative Divorce and is proud to offer this out-of-court alternative to the adversarial divorce process to his clients.

Mr. Poole is a former prosecutor, serving as an Assistant State Attorney in the 12th Judicial Circuit. His practice at Syprett Meshad also handles the criminal defense cases for the firm, ranging from traffic tickets to felony charges.

Mr. Poole is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator in Family Law and has completed Florida Supreme Court Certified Training as an Arbitrator. His experience provides a well-rounded perspective in the negotiations, motions, trials and hearings he conducts for his clients today.

Mr. Poole earned his Juris Doctorate in 2005 from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While in law school he earned the book award for Trial Practice and was inducted into the Florida Blue Key Honor Society. He also earned his Master of Science degree in Management (2003), and a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in Environmental Science with minors in Agricultural Law and Natural Resource Ethics and Policy (2001), all from the University of Florida.
