Syprett Meshad partner and real estate attorney John D. Dumbaugh has earned board re-certification from The Florida Bar as an expert in the field of real estate law, bringing his recognition as a board-certified attorney to 30 continuous years. Attorney Dumbaugh was first certified in 1990; the current certification continues through 2020. Board certified lawyers have met The Florida Bar’s highest standards for special knowledge, skills and proficiency in various areas of law and professionalism and ethics in the practice of law. Board certified lawyers’ experience and competency have been rigorously evaluated, and they are the only Florida lawyers allowed use the letters B.C.S. to indicate Board Certified Specialist when referring to their legal credentials. Only seven percent of eligible Florida Bar members have earned board certification. Lawyers seeking certification must be members in good standing of The Florida Bar and must meet the standards prescribed by the state’s Supreme Court.
